I am many things.
I am a husband serving an incredible wife, Kirstyn, who changes the world through the field of Clinical Psychology. We like to eat good food, read good books, and ride our bikes in Edmonton’s river valley. I am a musician who loves to pick up new instruments and explore different combinations of sound. Stories In Red and Mella are my personal projects, À La Mer! is a project with my close friend Jon Grieg, and Liturgie is a project with my wife. I am a pastor, ordained with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Though I am not currently on staff at a church, I have previously served as worship arts pastor at two churches in the GTA. I am an academic holding a MA in Hebrew Bible from University of St. Michael’s College and hope to pursue a PhD in the near future. I teach Bible courses as an adjunct professor at two Canadian bible colleges. I am a contemplative pentecostal believing that the Spirit brings order out of chaos and guides us into all truth. Our movement and the wider church community can learn from each other.
Ultimately, I am an apprentice in the way of Jesus trying to figure out what it means to work out my salvation with fear and trembling. I think deeply and have a heart for the church.
This space is where I share the music and words I write. My desire is that it serves you well. If it does, let’s connect.
